An Oxford Connection?

In 1783, at the ripe old age of 7 and in Springtime, Jane Austen moved to Oxford with her sister Cassandra and cousin Jane Cooper to live with a Mrs. Cawley and be educated at Brasenose College. They didn’t stay very long due to the Austen girls catching a ‘putrid fever’.

Enjoy!

If anyone has actually read these books (I haven’t) and you’d like to share your thoughts (on any other books too!), then feel free to email me at worldbookcapital@gmail.com. Happy spring!
